AIDWA Bihar state committee holds state-level 'NDA Sarkar se Beti Bachao' convention in Patna

The Bihar state committee holds state- today August 19. It was attended by more than 150 women representatives from 11 districts. It was inaugurated by general secretary Mariam Dhawale who strongly criticised the Nitish Kumar-led state government for its failure in protecting girls and women and in taking action against criminals involved in serious cases of atrocities. The convention was also addressed by vice-president Rampari and AIPWA leader, Meena Tiwari. The state secretary Geeta Sagar placed the resolution for collection of maximum funds for the flood devastated people of Kerala. It was greeted by SFI state president, Deepak Verma and presided over by state president, Neelam Devi. A call was given to mobilise women in large numbers for the Women's Protest Rally in Delhi on Sept 4. The women will also participate in the Mazdoor-Kisan Sangharsh Rally in Delhi on Sept 5.
