The 13th National Conference of the All India Democratic Women’s Association has elected the new Central Committee and Office Bearers. P.K. Sreemathi has been elected as the All India President, and Mariam Dhawale has been elected as the General Secretary. S. Punyavathi has been elected as the treasurer. The 103-member Central Executive Committee has been elected, along with the 34-member Secretariat. The outgoing President Malini Bhattacharya has become a Vice President of AIDWA.

The proceedings of the last day opened with plenary session of the six commission papers. Later, the credential report containing the details of the representatives was presented. The oldest representative is 80-year-old Vijaya Janaki from Tamil Nadu. The youngest representative is 21-year-old Sadiquae from Manipur.

215 women are participating in the conference have had inter caste/inter faith marriages. 110 people from Scheduled Caste, 48 from Scheduled Tribe and 310 from Other Backward Classes are the conference delegates. There are 28 representatives with doctorate degrees. There are 141 postgraduates and 182 undergraduates. 34 representatives who participated in the first conference in 1981 are also participating in the thirteenth conference. There are 20 delegates who have participated in all the national conferences of AIDWA. 374 delegates have been arrested and 127 have been jailed. A.R. Athira, a delegate from Tamil Nadu, has spent 42 days in jail.

People's representatives are also present as conference representatives. Seven MLAs, 26 Zilla Panchayat members and a minister are participating in the meeting.

Women who have faced various levels of violence are participating in the conference. 38 victims of police violence, 53 victims of communal violence, 37 victims of domestic violence, 14 victims of dowry violence, 22 survivors of workplace violence and 57 victims of political violence are participating in this conference.
